K. Heinz Hagenbucher
When I looked the first time through a viewfinder of a camera, I was only a few years old, most likely like everybody else. By the time I was 10, I wanted my own camera. Unfortunately the one I've got didn't work. Until the age of 20, my interests changed. Everything driven by a motor was just fun. Then with my own earned money I bought myself a Yashica. I really enjoyed the new hobby. In the year 1987 Pentax came with the SFX on the market, and soon it was my toy. The motives where mainly shot on holidays. It came a long way with me, and is still in my cupboard. When digital took over I got myself a Nikon Coolpix 5000 which was great for the photos I took.
In the end of 2011, the Nikon D7000 got me hooked on photography. To be able to see the just taken picture, and being able to manually adjust each setting, was great. Now it was time to take not just snap-shots, but understand the theory behind this art, and make pictures which are worth hanging up, or in this case, share it in the World Wide Web.
My other passion
My other hobby is riding my bike, either the racing, or the mountain-bike. Often both hobbies will fall into place, when I ride out with my camera to find a nice spot in our beautiful Rhinevalley, or close by mountains.
